Sept contest is a modded keg shoe on a foot, Im hoping Jaye will judge it.
Mods can be anything simple or complex and open to all.
    One entry per person.
To be clear historic work that is your own is welcome, boosting entries and ideas is not a bad thing.

    Bugger,

Just did a C/W on a keg I was quite chuffed with and didn't photograph. Will glowing descriptions do? :p

A simply setup that works for this cow horse. Broken heel on LH from an injury many years ago. She likes this shoe and stays sound.

    First time I've done this:
    000_0024.jpg 000_0029.jpg 000_0026.jpg 000_0030.jpg 000_0035.jpg

It's on my old mare Nicker. She can't bend her knee so she wears her toe off.

    Regards

Not to copy Gabino been waiting all month to shoe this one, then about forgot to take a picture so he got a little dirt on them.. Horse scalped pretty bad, been in this setup for a little over a year. Diamond toe and widened lateral branch.

The set down areas allow the toe to sink in and the center holds the foot in the ground a little longer to change the timing and hopefully prevent interference.

The lateral forged areas prevent the kick in the front shoe. The central area no forged, gets the traction,in my opinion.
