    Red,

I'll pm Steve and inform him of your problem,

I had trouble a couple of weeks ago,
he suggested clearing cookies, I don't know how to do that, if it doesn't include cold milk,
I was able to go there yesterday cookies and all

Regarding HS and their problems, I've decided that I want to keep my cookies intact. If you do manage to get on, stay away from the search function, or you will be denied service again.

It won't let me in either.. I just stopped going there. One would think it would be a properly running site?

If anyone has problems getting on here please feel free to e mail me a redsteele@hotmail.com,
ray@bestbuyhorseshoes or just remember www.horseshoesunlimited.com, those will get to me.....maybe and I let Andre know as soon as possible
I've been passing on info to Steve at horseshoes and suggested that he check in here so that he knows about the problems, for all I know he's one of our new members, incognito,

this puter stuff is a pain, at least to me and I bet ,though Steve in much more savvy bout it than I ,he probably feels the same

it'll work out in time, let me know if I can help.

I have no problem getting on here or HS, but HS's has really gone bad, not worth trying to get on . What a shame i used to really lookforward to going on HS's and reading everyone's post's.
Hopefully someday there will be another forum as good as the old HS's.
    Maybe this one?

I'm kinda glad you had trouble and re upped..... now we have two different pictures of your grand baby,if I have Andre locked up your Smitty 88 title, thirteen years from now you can pull up the site and show her off.
    Sorry for the problem,
Thanks for your efforts to get back on

So what am I doing different. 4 computers in the house and no trouble with either site except when HS first swapped and was down? Only had to clear the cookies once when the site first changed over. What are the things that might have some effect? Browser? Security programs?

    This is so cool!
I have found someone in this world who knows less than me about computers.
A cookie is something that comes into your computer that you can't see.

    Red,

I gave up trying to get into horseshoes.com with my Mozilla Firefox browser, but I occasionally could lurk there by going in with Microsoft Explorer. Lately, I can't get in with anything. Can't even get in through Google. I get the impression that something has gone terribly wrong with the site lately. I feel bad for Steve. He's a nice guy. I met him at the IHCS this year just after he had purchased the site and changed the software. I remember remarking to Mark Gough " I hope he hasn't killed it". I'm hoping that isn't the case. All along I figured that eventually things would be worked out, but a year is long enough to realize that there really is a problem. I know he said that he was having custom software written for the site, but my fear is that he is going to spend a lot of unnecessary time and money on something else that won't work. Just my impression of the situation. I'm frustrated like most everyone else with it. I hope if he finally gets things worked out that someone will let us know. (By the way, I know that Ray doesn't mind us posting about this. He has tried to help Steve as well.)

Thank the computer gods ( and Ray ( and Eric R) ) that we have FF available to us.

    Regards
