I sometimes print through forge ahead on my mobile printer, and I sometimes hand write them.

....... Me to I guess... But I also have used forge ahead ..fast books or what ever its called.. and one other... It's a hassel if u ask me .. when we bill she fills in a very simply self made..and run a copy ..when check comes make a copy and staple it to invoice and put in each horses file ..each horse has a file with notes ..xrays..notes from vet if ever had one.. pictures ..so on and so forth.. if we have to meet with vet I take my file just in case and we have a long history.. if I get paid in the field I hand write one from those snazzy invoice books you can get at any supply shop.. I keep a copy for the file... It's all good never lost unless a fire..

Travis, I'm working towards getting a file system as well. Medical notes, photos, etc.

I use hand written because I don't want to spend the money to buy a program right now. But I have looked at several and the one I will get when I get one is Farrier Basic 8. It's pretty easy to use in my opinion.

I use and enjoy Quick Books. Here net bank is the going thing, fast, easy and most of my customers do it. I don't have internet connect on the road so all invoices get e-mailed out when I get home. I find 90% of the customers pay much faster receiving their invoice by e-mail. When a customer pays cash and wants a recipt I e-mail it out.

No it is not, they do have an app for windows based phones that uses the "cloud" for some different things. But the program is computer based.

I'm pretty simple... I use the "Hey, I'm done, where's the money?" program ;)

Seriously, I went strictly COD several years ago so I invoice no one. Best thing I ever did for my business.

I get paid that day as well. I just use the invoice program for receipts of services rendered or estimates.
