Reset owner requested borium. I messed up the clench. And I let the borium bleed into the toe nail on the lateral side.

However I pulled my own clips. First on a clients horse. They are a bit puny. lol. Jaye I used the ball pein.

Is that horse sound Kim?

He's not limping is all I can say.

Watched him walk again today. Lands hard laterally, twists off, has channeling up to the second nail hole so possibly issue in the fetlock as Jaye mentioned before.

Walks behind a bit bow legged. Same thing except the channeling is only at the heels, and not as much wear at the toe.

Kim, it looks like you're rasping flat spots on the hoof wall instead of following the contour of the curve of the wall. Putting shiny stuff on there makes it really jump out at the camera.

Its not as shiny once it dries a bit.

I'm still working on rasp control and most definitely hammer control. I can't seem to hit the same place twice.

I have a lot to improve upon, but I feel like I'm getting better.

Looks like his heels are sheared in both fronts.

Right front is sheared and also a wry shape.

I don't think the left is or at least is not as obvious as the right.

Tom just gave you a specific regarding your finish. Next hoof you do, think of it. It's a small thing that will make an improvement.

It looks like you take short strokes with the rasp. Long flowing strokes that come from the abs to the shoulders then down the arms to the hand.

You can hit the head of a nail . . . but your eyes are looking at the head of the nail. When start a bubble on a clip, you need to pick an imaginary spot to look at with your eyes, then hit that spot just like hitting the head of a nail.

I know, I was acknowledging my short comings and agreeing.

Though the left may be slightly sheared as well, it's not blatant as the right is all I'm saying. Seemed fairly even to me at the horse.
