I was just poking around and saw a livestream addon which uses justin.tv. It looks like it's a free service. Just need a laptop, internet connection, and video camera. Anyone familiar with this?

Them are oatmeal with dried cranberries (Crasins) and white chocolate chips. Sometimes she gets sloppy and accidentally spills some of that Sailor Jerry spiced rum in the batch . . . I have a hard life, no?

Have you seen what they've done lately? They merged a bunch of horse owner forums like navicular, white line disease, laminitis all into one forum. With the search function not working all that well at least you were able to browse a specific topic to find what you were looking for. Now they took that ability away also.

I'm convinced Steve is trying to destroy the site. I just don't understand the slow death instead of just taking offline?

well, 1 new post in 3 1/2 days. Online guests goes from just over a 1000 to just under 400 throughout the day. From what I've seen online users ranges from 0 to 5 with an average of just under 3.

This thread has more traffic ABOUT horseshoes.com than total traffic on Horseshoes.com.

It's really a shame to lose all the archival information. I can't see it coming back Smitty, after watching what has happened over the last year. I think Steve got some bad advice and made some bad decisions, and it turned out to just be more than he was prepared to handle. I feel bad for him, and will really miss the site.

We're really fortunate that Ray and Eric stepped up and started this site. After it has been active as long as horseshoes has, it will be comparable in history info. I do wish this forum had more horse owner questions.

    Rick, (sorry bout that, )

that Eric started FF was in my mind brilliant, that it is still up 1st kudos in my mind go to Andre, cause I would have plugged it in and hoped for the best, and 2nd is to David Hall for stepping up to help moderate, and 3rd is to the folks who pm d and called to offer to help and those ,you among them, whom i called to bounce ideas off and members who participate and continue to support here.

Your post got me thinking, is there away to save the archives at horseshoes? Is it something worth pursuing? Not that I would be of any help technologically, but if it can be done I could talk to Andre .

    Regards

    Ray

Hard to feel sorry for the guy. From the get go he stated what he planned to do to the site. He does things and when they don't work out he blames everyone else. Just look at tapatalk. He went and upgraded his website and then blamed tapatalk for not keeping up with his upgrades. Now tapatalk is working fine with his software but he already shut it off so he's losing traffic.

Here's another example of how they do things without thinking it through. http://www.horseshoes.com/forum/89-farriers-helping-horse-owners-non-disease-related-issues.html They merged 6 forums into one and paid so little attention to detail they now have 6 sticky threads all saying the exact same thing.

Look at those banners everyone hates but Steve insisted on having there. Even google says it's a bad idea:
