I found it odd the way he was holding his finger in the first pick.

What angle was it on inside the capsule? Did they get antibiotics just in case?
I wonder if that would have shown up on an xray if it had not been visible from the outside.

Woody products show up as a "blurr' or dismissal in a rad in most cases. Somes cases where the "WOODY" is inflamed and swollen ; gas pocket and needs to blow....

A result of jumping a Berkeley hedge? Thorns finish a lot of horses seasons.

Would I also be correct in guessing this was at that yard we went to trim those horses?

Had another lame one today in the hunt kennels, Had a bissy day so swagged this out quick so not a world champ job :D Alex also had the anvil vice at college so a bit hammer finished. Horse had over reached and the heel was mobile and pinching on the soft horn. For those that might want a bigger shoe I agree but this horse needs a snorkel at the min to do its job. It was sound at the end.

Just wondering David why did you opt for this shoe and not a heart bar or a bar shoe?

Havent used one in a while and quick to make and light, I dont carry heart bars, to expensive to have complete range, but a heart bar would of done well, a straight bar would of not spread the weight sufficiently.
