    In most cases of medial lateral imbalance if the horse doesnt have an angular limb deformity, and most do, I know I have cut up more than most this year, You can get the balance right by getting the body to follow the nose, not the shoulder.

    I would think if I needed to make a heartbar I'd make it out of one piece instead of making a barshoe then making a frog plate.

    Yep Im rubbish at forging the heart round and it looking symmetrical when finished.

    I have no issue with jumping things in except when someones pushing making handmade shoes and then suggests taking the easy way out.

    yes, but the point was to make a lite bar shoe then put a more support frog plate in? yes??
