Hint Gabby, just after welding throw into the water bucket. If it don't break; good weld! That;s is what I used to do. Still do the same for the ponies now, Real ponies, 14 hands and under. To many aluminum bars on the market to weld nowdays....

I can't find nothing here at Spain. In the store, 2 rod costs 5 euro. My price is a goods on offer. When I get them,I will show. It looks the rod are a spanish mark or Durafix. You know them?

Just a couple of pics from today
pic 1 is the flux and the wire
pic2 is the shoe in the fire at an angle, the wire turns into a ball and flows into the scarf.
pic 3 just push together and hold till cool.

I'm desesperated. The electrodes for electric welder don't work. The durafix weld cracks if are forged.Tomorrow I will order Aliweld flux and I will try.

It's welded, but the weld is coarse. No worry..like the wolf said to little pigs, "I will blow and will blow.."
