    Joe made a pair for a horse today
    here is the system we use with hand mades we mark the size on the foot surfice a dot is a quarter so this pair is 12 1/2" shoe. make the shoe fit it then put your roled toe on shoe and then role the toe on your foot to accomidate the role on shoe IMG_0145.JPG

    Layne the horse in the other post is pawing the stable floor
    he does it that bad he can paw the toe away in ten days
    this type of wont stop him pawing
    but will give him a bit longer wear
    and protect the foot

    That's a handy way to mark shoe size, could pull it off and know what size needed without having to wait for foot to get trimmed.

    Terminology differences place to place. . .we'd call that a rocker toe. Ran into that some on the exchange

    Wow Smitty, that is so hard to understand with the system you folks have over there that this kind of work happens??Do you have freelancers over there that shoe without being involved in the System?? Just wondering? :confused:

    Gary we have lads over here not qualafied shoeing
    the UK is a bit different, you can get jail over there
    as Grant M said to me one day you will get good and
    bad shoeing in every Country
