trick question. concave bar stock is the answer. Or my other answer would be... however much you told him to cut for you Just guessing you added 3 in for width of heels. (missing that measurment) 16 1/4 is my guess, give or take 1/2 in, based on how you wanted to fit expansion
No trick question, one thing i try to teach App is work it out for your self so he got no help on the measurments. he made these from 17" of 7/8x 3/8 concave and was on the money.
Nice looking shoe that he made. So I was pretty close in what I thought he cut. I was not wsure how thick the heart was as well. Any photos from the top sideto examine fit?
Michael you said 16 1/4" and he cut 17" to me thats along way out when making bar shoes out of concave the pics are from my phone ,ran out of batteries for camera this is the only other pic i took i try and give these young lads a chance to make and fit all types of shoes for feet,it stands to them i think
Well I still feel like I was close with the info given. Did he get to see the trimmed hoof before making the shoe? Did you discuss how you wanted it fit? Its hard just looking at a solar shot to give you the proper answer. I will ask more questions before I guess next time.
He dressed the foot Michael the measurments were 5 1/4 x 5 1/2 he said im going with 17", i said you wont be far away he knows what lenth is good at this stage of his Apprenticship making shoes for the feet in question is your ace card esp bar shoes
John, when you do use a pad, if a full pad what if anything do you pack/put under it? what material ,plastic,leather,other are the pads that you do use? Why did you folks feel he need for a pad in this case,/others? Thanks in advance ray
