    Sabina,

May I suggest that you ask your hoof care provider to take a look at these forums so that he/she may relate what they observed and reasons for the trim shown,
    we may all learn somethings.

    Regards

I really would like to throw my name in the hat. You guys all have people(kids, wifes) that would hate to see you leave. So I will take one for the team and offer to go over...

Or are we going about this wrong. I could see a nice FF clinic there. Ray and I will leave the states with the Yacht and stop by and pick you guys up on the way

Men the sheik mohammed is ov3r there with some of the Best Kentucky Bred Thoroughbreds money can buy....He comes over to the major sales and takes the very best bloodlines....I guarantee that there are farriers around Dubai that are top shelf..not trying to dampen the dreams of farriers wanting to help.......just facts......

Isn't Derek Puopard over there doing the quixshoe thing, this horse would be a good candidate for that IMO.

Sabina, no matter who you get just know that they are going to have there hands full fixing your horse. It may not be an easy road.

My cousin won the derby with a 50-1 longshot a few years ago with a horse named "Mine That Bird"....I didnt see any different looking feet there in the paddock that I see here at Remington Park. However the Dubai horses feet were definately kept shiny as a show horse...some had what I thought were copper looking or brass alloy plates...they were polished up with a rasp around the beauty ring and looked like gold...

    John,

to answer you directly about this,

you must realize, if i need to stop in Ireland , over or return from Saudi or Dubai, you will have to pay a separate barn call to get the Sheiks horses done, it s only fair!

Would there be any Guinness available, of quality?

Ya have to go a bit south first! Yu'uns will need a course in eatin' camel and goat filled with rice, some baby pigeon and others. Been there and done that. Both at the International Endurance venue and Nad Al Sheba racetrack. Hayden Price and I were there and parlayed for a while. That was '02. Hadn't seen him since '96. We met I was cutting back bulbous frogs for the Japanese team.
The "team" hadn't seen the granite footing in Atlanta! We talked again in '05 @ Laminitis seminar, Palm Beach.

BTW, That is the Queen and Princess...
