If it happened within 45 days you can dispute the charge on PalPal.

The co-op was a reoccurring charge yearly. Automatically taken out of your PayPal account, not sure if you can dispute it with them since it was agreed upon when you signed up for the co-op.

I cancelled mine when the sight went downhill.

    RTFM

Any PayPal transaction can be disputed within the specified time frame. The PayPal dispute resolution process begins with PayPal contacting the vendor and giving notice that there is a dispute. The vendor has to respond to the dispute within so many days or risk automatic refund. If they do not respond to multiple disputes they risk losing their PayPal account - even if that response is merely to deny the refund.

It is no different than disputing a charge on a credit card. Even if you authorized the charge, the vendor has to respond to the dispute and disclose evidence that you authorized the charge - the terms of the agreement for the transaction. In either case, if the vendor does not respond in the allotted time frame, the charges are automatically refunded.

Steve Turpin can ignore an eMail and you have no recourse. If he ignores your PayPal dispute, you automatically get your money back. If he responds to the dispute, you have legal documentation regarding how he responded - which you can post here so the rest of us can see how he deals with his customers.

    Gary,

I emailed Steve and he has informed me that a refund has been set up for you, it was probably all set up before I poked my nose into it, hope this clears it all up, I think it may have been a timing issue but should be ok now.

    Regards

    Tom,

I ve not had the experiences that you have I m sure, but your response reminds me of something that was said when one of my kids was having some troubles,

the professional that we had had some dealings with ran into my wife a the super market and they began talking about the situation, well it came to how Ray was handling it and the professional said to my wife, this is so typical ,you, Anna see the tank as half full, he says and Ray sees the tank as half empty............ when my wife told me of the conversation, I called the professional and suggested that Ray might see that the tank has a hole in it, and if we work on fixing the hole, we might be able to fill the tank!

May I suggest that we wait to see if Gary get s the refund, then decide where /if doubt should be....

    Thanks

    Ray

Ray, FYI (no pun intended regarding Fran Jerga) "benefit of doubt" means presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond all reasonable doubt.
