How did it turn out Gary? We had to do research on navicular syndrome and disease, shoes that we found to be of most use for the cases was a graduated heeled shoe with a rolled toe to speed the break over or an egg bar with a rolled toe (egg bar to stop any independent movement of the heels) or if shoe makings not your bag then a heel wedge and rolled toed shoe (heel wedges or graduated shoes to relieve pressure off the deep digital flexor tendon off the navicular bone)

Be interested how this one turned out :) all knowledge gained :)

They had it x-rayed and vet diagnosed 'avulsion fracture of the extensor process'.
He said that he would have recommended bar shoes for it anyway, so was happy with the ones I made.

Well done mate, love that sort of stuff. I stayed in the hotel just behind your left shoulder at the end of the gallops there last year.

    What's going on here Chris?

There looks to be too much metal for the second branch (though I guess it could be the camera angle) and I was taught to form the clips as the last stage of making the shoe, so what was the order of steps here?
