Fj0 slim for sliders E2 to E 5 ,here some slims use a lot of 3 slim ,4 slim M60 Reg 4-5-6 PG 1 Cstö 5 E9 Alway mustad ,but Liberty come in very nice boxes maybe I will get some until I have the containers for each size together..

By far 5ch and 5 slims are my main drives. Before there was a 5 slim I used to take the dremel to 5 and 6 ch to make the blade/shank into what I thought I needed on the occasional problem. There are still a # of 4.5 race and 3 race used along with 7,8, 9 city and Reg. head. As I have said on other threads I use up alot of what doesn't sell and make it work. I will often restamp a piece of steel if necessary to accomadate. Regards Ray Steele

I have an open mind and tend to be quite passionate about challenging authority. You've made some authoritative statements about what's "right" and "wrong." But you refuse to engage in dialog regarding the "base of knowledge" upon which your opinion is predicated. Instead you attempt to fire off insults. You could share some background information that might help the reader understand "where you're coming from." That would be a good dialog. But it seems you don't have the inclination or ability to go there. So Jack, is this the way it's going to be?
According to that, it's for "U" creased shoes. So if you've got "U" channel concave they would be great. I haven't seen any Australian concave. Jack, maybe you should inform Mustad that their BH nails work in Australian concave.
If your talking about the so called concave nail . Its a dud!!! fantastic nail if you want a lose shoe with in a week of shoeing the horse. was given a box to try before there release. Just anther pathetic novices attempt at greatness gone wrong. its back to the drawing board with that nail.
Strange, I've used them and thought they were great, just too expensive. But then I use E heads in concave, so what do I know?
& you wont. Australia does not make any manufactured shoes here any more . or rolled concave bar. All imports .We only export iron ore & coal to China . Its called Treason & just like the USA & Canada no ones getting Hung for it their getting Rich. I'm giving up shoeing at the end of next month when the Carbon Tax comes in. shoeing horses here has become a remember when.
The concave nail concept was to make one nail to fitted different thicknesses of concave bar . Hence the curved side face. so it would fit a variety . The trouble is wedging a curved surface up against a flat one. Means minimal surface contact & what contact is being made has to take all the load which wears it in a very short time frame. leaving you with no contact & a lose shoe. It lacks the basics of practical engineering thought.Its not a nail I would recommend to use unless you enjoy going back regularly to tighten or tack shoes back on.
