I had the pleasure of refereeing today as my son shod my daughters horse. Was it enough for the lad to make the shoes special, no!!!!!
I was down the end of the barn working on my bare foot trimming, apparently I dont nail them on as neatly, my fitting is substandard and my clenching is to rough!!! Some of my other clients dont have an issue with my work but my children do!!!!! Trimming the old boy is all I was allowed to do
If you look closely Gary you will see my daughter is holding £40 in her left hand which I have just given her!!!
So she gives it to him for shoeing his horse, you take it off him for board and lodging then your wife takes it off you for housekeeping! Everyone's a winner...
That pic of your kids is really beautiful. I just keep wondering if you have photography talent-more than you're letting on! Oh and BTW, when you're photographing a hoof's levelness, you're supposed to hold the leg by the cannon bone and let the foot freely drop, not give it the choke hold. In fact, I learned that here!
My father is a photographer I have always thought there was a similarity between what he did and what I do I had to twist the leg to get it to look level
I can't believe that to be true given the grace and diplomacy of those "across the pond". I do think that she may be getting a cramp holding on to the money her dad gave her and as a last resort is resting each finger individually so as not to lose a good grip.
Clint I think you are to generous, she is a stroppy teenager and I think Toms and Ricks thoughts and observations are correct.
The words "pay you back" and "teenage daughter" don't belong on the same planet, never mind in the same thread!
