This was secured in a table top vice grip and sliced with a reciprocating saw. I prefer leaving the lower limb attached for grip and using a miter saw. I would never attempt to slice cadavers unless they are frozen, that and sharp blades make all the difference!
Can I ask what sort of saw and blade, I have to do something similar. Is there a way of preserving them?
you can pickle in formaldehyde for a month , air dry for a couple of weeks and use a bandsaw , freeze drying is the best but difficult to get done , i had loads but sold them all before moving abroad
I do a couple of "healthy ones" that i ll be happy to ask the owners if they would mind donating a leg or two.......for the educational experience here! Ray
