The only really unbreakable rule that I have is 'always keep your laces tied'.
I have lots of rules, but I can't think of one that wouldn't get broken in certain circumstances, however this job is dangerous enough as it is, so what ever I'm doing, if my laces come undone, I stop and re tie them...
    :)

Might be a good rule to get out from under the horse before tying your laces. ;)

Fortunately I'm a retired electrician and retired Air National Guard and collecting Social Insecurity. I wouldn't want to make "too much".
I'm removing the shoes and trimming two horses tomorrow that have had the shoes on since last fall ( Sep. I think). That's the way its done around here. :)

Good for you Shoe 'em. Somebody needs to service those "types". I won't, 'cause I don't want to enable them, but you're doing a big favor to those horses.

Turned out to be good horses in that they stood still while I worked on them. Owner says he'll call me in about six weeks or in June when he'll want shoes on "Maybe". He's (owner) is 76yo and is having some leg problems. He's not sure he'll be able to continue to ride.

We've all been there. Good on you for helping the old guy. Don't spend the money until you get, LOL.

    Regards
