Fair call. I do use E European nails . The point I was driving at is they are a nail best suited to be locked in . Meaning the pitch of the head of the nail is such that there is very little support to prevent the head moving sideways in the fuller. The face pitch then creating a lifting action if it moves sideways. E nails really need to be locked in by a min of two corners to prevent this from occurring. BH & CH are more suited when there is no locking afforded in the stamping of the shoe . Due to there head side pitch being grater & the leading edge of the bevel lessening it being caught & creating a levering effect.

    Karen,
This is a Farrier's Forum. After a day of sweating and bleeding, communication as we do here really shouldn't hurt a lot.
As I know nothing of the everyday and higher levels of the Nursing profession, I would never think of stepping in the middle of a nurse fight. I do know that you all have access to scalpels and needles and probes and stuff, so I'm standing back.
Likewise, one not in our art should stand by and let us work it out.

I dunno what happened, but I'm sad Jack Mac bit the dust already. Lordy he sure picked a great avatar this time!!! I thought he was so sincere when he humbled up to his bad behavior and was sure he would at least last the day.

He sure had a masterful way of weaving his own bad boy legend and made for good read thats for sure.

ANd once in a while he offered insights into the foot.

I was told off by him once in a PM long ago. It was kinda like getting fired by George Steinbrenner.

I lift my glass to your old wicked self Jack Mac.

I like nurses, but I'd make a poor moderator on a Nursing Forum.

Reading the discussion here is fine, it's public. Participation in Farrier discussions is intended to be among Farriers. There is a section for interaction between Farriers and horse owners.

I read a few of the posts on censorship here to my wife and she thinks that the men here are being held to feminine standards.

OK, I removed the offensive posts from the dilettante. I'm sorry things got out of hand. From now on I will police the dilettantes in the farrier section more closely, ESPECIALLY when they criticize Bill Adams.

I have no problems with drag queens on the forum as long as they wear a shirt with a collar.

What of me in a collared shirt?

Or proof I look better than a drag queen?

Gosh, Bill, I didn't realize that you were on the rule making committee. What are the rest of the rules?

I'd like to see those offensive posts put back up and let all members see how offensive they were.
