Since we all primarily look at a hoof with the toe pointing away from us as opposed to looking toward us; and with the technology we have to day; can't we turn the pics so we're looking at them the way we do when we're working on the horse as opposed to observing someone working on the horse? (In pics where we're looking at the bottom of the foot.) I'm occasionally turning magazines and books upside down so I can see the hoof in the pic the way I would look at it if I were under the horse.
Just to clear some things up in the competition no pics of a shoe on the foot the entry has to be made in the month of jan 2015 if your making a shoe a foot surfice pic and a ground surfice pic if it somthing else just a good clear pic
Waiting for the temps to get above zero. We'll have a few weekends before the end of the month. I was tempted to put up a pic of one I did last weekend, so I would be in first place for at least a little while, but I decided not to because I can do better. Regards
Well I got som good practice.Got my piece finished today, then realized I used a chunk of 3/8 x 3/4. Next one will be mobetta.
No power hammers or grinders! Smitty started a different thread just for photos 2015 contest photos I think
I turn 1/2 x 1-1/2 fairly often, this will be easy. If all else fails I have a 3lb cross pien that will lay waste to 3/8 x 1. LOL
