That's the way to do it, John. Set the standard from the start.
An Uncle of mine advised me to take my first pay check after I was married, cash it at the bar, and buy everyone drinks till it was gone. He said if I waited six months to do something like that, she'd throw me out.

Was fun guys maybe try agen when we get to mo . Lerend a little on this one, theres two failed attemts in my scrap pile first one i folded a saw blade into and got a cold shut at the tang but its a nice enough pice of demaskis that i think i will weld a tang on it and finnish it later .second one i tryed pritcheling my fullering and being fullered bolth sides it was so thin it split next to the nail holes mostly i lerned that im rilly out of practis and that the deeper nest and new blower are going to take some getting useto.thanks for the challege smitty . All good entrys guys but if i was judging i think i would go with chris

I'm going for 11:59 PM January 31, 2015. If it weren't for the last minute, I wouldn't get nothin' done at all.

Darn, I thought it was the end of the month, too. I even re-lined my forge this morning so I could make a super-duper piece. I'll post my disqualified one I made already when I get the kid to show me how. At least I have the afternoon off now.

How about another tool making contest ? Something specific like tongs ,hoof knives ,hammers or pritchals .much easier to judge if everyone makes the same thing IMG_20150131_194659_811.jpg
