This is what happens when you use superfast for a pour in pad. The back half of the foot was filled with superfast and had been for close to a year. They couldn't figure out why the horse kept getting abcesses!!!

Just a few other things, LOL!! She can barely walk, I geuss she won a ton of money on the harness track and is in foal. Will find out if the corns go away with a softer IM.

The title should've been "this is what happens when they ignore the read, understand and follow directions" directions.
In their defense, I have come back 7-8 wks later and witnessed equi-pak that seemed as hard as superfast.

Whomever didn't notice or fix it is to blame more than anyone else. A year? They obviously don't give a shit about the animal, just the money she's making them.

One of those rare cases a heart bar might do wonders......

Funny you mention that. I poured Surperfast under a hospital plate today to form a custom frog plate (using putty to make a temporary form around the frog). I put a tongue depressor between the shoe and the hospital plate as I poured it, and removed it after it polymerized. This creates some positive frog pressure and the horse was instantly more comfortable.

It is indeed a rare occasion when I use a heart bar. And it has done wonders every time I've used it.
