Actually, he tried to pay for a full trim, but I took half. On another horse I just started on, he was all on the medial walls on the hind end, and there wasn't enough lateral to remove so I squirted on a wedge and a little extension to the medial. He sure moved a lot better when I was done. He was barely moving when I showed up.

Smitty, there's just a coupla pens full of them and if I'm lucky, I do 'em twice a year. Since they were baling hay, I was alone, so I was just working my way through the bunch. Nobody reminded me about that one.

Christos, sometimes using a bigger fuller deeper or just differently on each branch.

Here's one that a Superfast wedge and a plastic shoe did the trick. This was a"sunk" SOB........

Jaye is the nails in there for wear...that's what it seem to do where out pretty darn fast ..I used a superfast shoe one time for a nail wound and filled with that black stuff made by vet tec ..can't think of the name ..let me see if I can find a pic... The nails if that's what they are for is a really good idea..
