    At this writing my favorite licensing poster child Travis Morgan has exactly 294 posts. Not a single one I can find has ever been the least bit useful for anything.

    I'll again bring to your attention this from Pat Reilly which I agree with 100%
    And this from David Hall
    Ordinarily I'm not into banning and such but this guy is clearly beyond the beyond. He serves no useful purpose, has been thrown off most other sites for being an annoying troll and around here it's clearly long past time to flush this turd. I ask that you not only ban him but block him as well.
    I put this on a separate thread so folks could have a chance to sound off about this on a thread all it's own. I'll say though that if nobody stands with me on this I'll gladly delete this post.

    Farrier or not, a few need to go bye-bye. You cant say you don't know this. Deleting and hand slapping do not work without a system that leads to banning. Please back your mods up on this. How bout a trial basis? 30 days? Then re discuss. The goal being that it would get rid of the posters of pure trash AND attract back the vets that offer great advice like Bruce and Red. I think it would make this place 100% better. Isn't that what you want? It would be a fair trade trade to have owners not post in the farrier section to have an owner moderator (me?) and to not have the trash not spew their crap.

    Smitty never gets involved in anything outside pure shoeing, and now he is. Isn't that somewhat of a warning that this forum needs Ray to back his mods with the right to ban? Trial it.

    i have to say i'm serious disappointed with the lanuage that Travis keeps throwing out there.

    we're not in our teens here. anybody can slip up now and then but all this repetition is making it look like it's a bar room brawl.

    Gary, that is good, and should include restricted threads on the owner part as well. I would ask/apply for mod in the owner section if David mods the farrier section.
    As well as deleting posts off topic in the owner section as well.

    i consider myself very lucky to be able to come to Ray's playground any time of the day or night. but it's STILL ray's.
    and if he told me to put up or shut-up, you can bet i will in order to be able to keep gleaning information off this board.

    Dana,

    I appreciate the sentiment , but I want it to be YOURS , as in members, you folks have a chance to control, I'm beginning to believe I'm dumb enough to pay the relatively small bill money wise but it's getting huge time wise, I'm pretty selfish with time, cause being a control freak, I can't control it(time/clock), so I go with the flow of time and use it to keep me happy,

    Dana you have hit into the reason I asked Eric about this forum when he didn't want to continue, I want to glean the info, I don't want to ban Travis Morgan, he is the future and I'm sure I'll learn something from him, but if we loose many others because of him, i loose knowledge, that's life.

    Why don't we just label anther person & we can ban them to. I don't mind Travis Mad Dog Morgan & his gutter hummer postings. It can at times be more enjoyable to read then the continual whingging whinning posts of little Eric Russell & his groupies . Get on with posting your own farrier topic & stop worrying about what others post. If your posts are more interesting then mad dogs gutter hummer . Then no one will be bothering to read his posts . Problem solved.

    Jack,now they are asking for votes to get rid of travis morgan,8 to 1 isn't that special and Smitty isn't very happy and when Smitty isn't happy nobodys happy? I just hope Ray considers this when its my time to go~I want to go quietly in my sleep,like my Grandfather did,not like all the passangers in his car screaming their heads off!

    There are some that appreciate your advice/input even tho we sometimes are not thrilled with the way you introduce it. There are some that do not want to listen to what your saying, because it's more fun to bait you into losing your temper, which is easy. Some do not even want to admit that you have lately been much more of a decent member than a handfull of "farriers" who are much better at bs then they are a shoeing.
