Sure, Flavour, intensity and affect. Not the effect, that is what "bends folks out of shape" Maybe I need to dissolve my interweb thoughts. Do like "Tom Hall"; the beaches and make enough money to get it done....
I don't have the body to endure the amount of hours it'd take to get that good 6 months...... Maybe 6 years I can, ya know slower pace. lol
I believe ya, but you said they don't take 32 yr olds there so I'm outta luck. Kidding aside right now I'm still trying to get my basics on shoeing one, then I hope to start focusing more on making them as it's quite satisfying to create art.
I'm with Smitty. Shoe building and trimming go hand in hand. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
They are right beside those clipping hammers that cause the fullering to tear open. It actually wouldn't matter if it was an axe and a rock, they could get the job done in the right hands. I know what needs to be done, I just need more practice.
There is no such thing as talented, only well practiced...and I for one need a hellava' lot more of it. Smitty's apprentices can do that in a year and a half and I've been shoeing for 15 years. My biggest problem is me, and getting off my sorry a**. There is no other excuse.
I really do like Kool Aid. As long as it is made with sugar and not splenda. Splenda is a product of evil people. Having said that I have not had Kool Aid in a long period of time. At least a year. I was with my familey. Its odd that you would ask about something like that. I must ask are you a fan of splenda? I for one am not.
I can. We have had no rain for the last few months and around 90 days in the high 90's or above. The flys are horrible and fly spray quit working. Lots of lost shoes (even the clipped ones) all slim nails. Usually with all six nails still in the hoof. They just shear to easy. I am using mostly Ch5 E4 and e5. I have been known to drive a CH6 for temp. traction.
We can get some mighty droughts in the places I've worked and have never had 6 slims shear... maybe one or two... or rarely three in shoes that have been on a tad too long. Maybe clips make a difference here as we routinely clip everything and I use slims on evertyhing.
