    I tried the pins but not four in one side. He wore down the lateral branch still with two. Wish I done like yours now Smitty. Owner wants borium now because the pins didn't work.

    The thing is that the excessive wear on one side is trying to tell us something. Putting pins in to retard that wear has consequences for the limb. Perhaps the trim/hoof balance needs to be re-thought.
