Long footed Arab. First time seeing him. I cold shod him cause he was having a hard time keeping it together. Owner not present, and I didn't want him getting hurt ImageUploadedByTapatalk1352412212.395425.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1352412228.446785.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1352412258.012094.jpg

I was just glad to get him done. I really dislike shoeing anything cold. :(

I forgot that I already started a 'before' on this one...I put the rest of it down in the 'handmades' under my 'plain stamps' thread.

I just feel like I do it better hot, and it seems easier on my elbow.

I think it's a lot easier to shape hot.

I think so. Seems like I only make two trips to each foot hot vs five or six maybe when cold.

I don't like doing anything above ali's and training plates cold. Due to circumstances at the time I did 3 months of nothing but cold about 2 1/2 years ago. Never had problems with my elbow before, but that trashed it good and proper. It's only really coming right now.

Its no doubt it would be easier on the body over time
but do you ever get asked is hot a better job over cold
how do you go about answering it
i know from on here there is lads never seen a stall jack
never mind knowing how to use one
you can have the he/she that hot fits everything
that might not know what hot shoeing is really about
    or cold shoeing
there is alot of things that go into a good cold/hot shoeing
    job besides the burn.

thats just me waffling on a Sunday morning before the breakfast:)
