Who's going to have the 1st shoeing pic of the new year (IRISH TIME OF COARSE) rumour has it Ray is buying a round of drinks
Does that mean that someone in the USA could post a pic at say 7:01 EST and it would be counted as 12:01 Irish time? I might be able to do that if I get the ok from my wife to stay up late New Years eve, 7:01 is a little past my usual bed time! I think i m ready to buy a round, rcd the resupply this week, three cases of Guinness, a case of Sam Adams, a case of a beer made in Sarejovo(i ll save one for you John for when you show up) and a bottle of Tullamore Dew! What people must think of me............... oh well hope there s a pint left to buy the round by New Years! Don t tell David about this, bad hand and all . Regards Ray
i think some of our kiwi friends on here will be the first to shoe in 2013, they will have done a days work by the time we wake up!
John, i think you have made this interesting............ if i were to post a picture of a bar shoe at 1901 hours EST, 12/31 2012, which would be 0001 hours Jan. 1 2013, Irish time, would I qualify to be in the running of both ,the bar shoe contest and 1 st shoe posted for 2013 at Irish time? In the 5 hour lag time between our two clocks , i ll buy the round! Regards Ray
