    Who's making it to the IHCS in Cincinnati next week?

    Had a promising young farrier that's been around a couple years tell me he wasn't going because he couldn't afford it. I told him he couldn't afford NOT to go...Now he's going....
    I'm bringing my last two apprentices. Looks like we will have the largest group from Maine there ever!

    Hope to see you all there!! I hear Ray is holding an open bar behind his trade show booth! (y)

    I'll be there. Rumor is that Ray is giving away everything that is not nailed down. Even if it is something in someone else's booth.

    I m considering it . It ll depend on if i can find someone to attend to the row boat , if i have enough nails to take care of my booth and nuff Black Stuff to ensure my nourishment, With Scruggs working so hard on those tongs ,my thirst quotient has been pretty powerful,feel like
    i m drinking for two...don t worry i ll loosen the panty hose and get it done, don t feel sorry for me! Folks have a safe trip....David mind the cabin ladies now your on your best behaviour.

    Regards

    I have to miss it this year. I even won free admission but a close family member is getting a bone marrow transplant and I need to be here for the family. I will be bummed at losing my 4 year streak. Take notes for me guys I know I am missing out.

    I was thinking she was a sailing yacht as some of the best of those are built in Massachusetts. You could live very well on what it costs to fuel that thing.

    A couple of variations on that theme that I heard were;

    If I fail the test, I'll blame the pencil.

    Nobody blamed the light saber when Anikin killed the Younglings.

    David, it is line, sheet, rode, halyard . . . there is no "rope" on a boat.

    Yep Ray has some soap in an FF logo on a rope hanging from the gold taps! I know what you thinking gold taps! but thats what you get when you give an aging farrier a say in the decor!

    Well sorry folks,
    i just read that David is now planning to be "under some flag" probably literally, i fear for the crew, the raft is without ropes as reported by some, this will be devastation, i ve had to put all the Guinness slated for use behind the booth into private reserve,hoping to control or at least dull the pain of these losses. So i ll be expecting you all to buy me some. I hope you understand, there is one chance of safety, i ve rcd a picture of a woman, taken while helping her husband forge some tongs. very alluring ,pjs and carhart jacket, i think giving me the bird, if i can get her to sign it it would be auction fodder, if not i ll sell it to her husband for posterity,nah ,maybe rent it.

    again you folks have a safe trip there and home

    I may be there but am not going to say for sure because every year I have went a snow/ice storm has hit. One year it took 9 hrs to make the 3 hr. trip, we are supposed to get snow and sleet tonight but looks to be warm tomorrow.
