    Alicia,
What are you doing here? Are you still shoeing or have you gone BUA yet?
From what you were told and the way your were told it a few years back, you should have tucked your tail and quit this "man's" job.

Still shoeing, no plans to change that anytime soon. Grateful for every bit I have learned from you and others.

    So Alicia,
With all the "abuse" you took, without resorting to the ignore button, you seem to have taken correction and used the advise, turning it into knowledge and skill, and worked your way up to shoeing at Olympic level events.
There are many others who've come along here who thought the tone too mean, who are out of the trade. Tough work takes tough people.

    George,
We went way too easy on Phil. It's a failing on our part we all have to live with.

    John,

Surely you're joking. This site would be lesser without you.

And George, I miss Phil. Wish he would come back. A lot of good discussion was initiated by his posts.

    Regards

Actually, I think it did. And, like Mr. Shepherd, I too wish Phil was still around.

So, now that we have finally met, face to face, I become Mr Shepherd? Does that mean I'm older than you thought, Mr Burton?:p

Actually, I was having a 'senior moment' and couldn't remember if it is you or me who is "the other Rick", or "Rick, too", so I opted to use the more formal "Mr. Shepherd" to avoid any chance of damaging your fragile psyche. :)

Though I am not 'Mr. BurtOn', I have formed no opinion on that subject....;) And let not your heart be troubled, that slight has not damaged my psyche in the least. Besides, I don't get mad, I get even........

    Indeed!

    Rick,
who may be 'the other' or 'too', which once again proves that as concerns most things involving, even tangentially , horses, It Depends...........:)

Thanks for the explanation. I was so upset that I was beside myself, which is probably why I misspelled your name. I guess that would have made 3 Ricks, complicating things further. Fortunately, you sir, are much taller than I had anticipated, which simplifies things somewhat. And I am probably much better looking than you had surmised. Now if I can just figure out what to call that other guy.:(

    Regards
