Well I made it to the convention. I competed in the Vernhornquist class with the likes of Billy Lewis, Steve Kraus, Lee Green, Bucky Hatfield,Jim Kieth and others.
It was an awesome experience and we all made really nice shoe's. Jim won the class.
This was my first convention in all the years I have been a member, (#1300)

I met Jack Evers or I should say he came up and found me. This man is amazing for those of you who haven't met him.
We visited and would cross paths throughout the days and talk some more.

The class's and the competition were great to watch.
We had copmpetitors from England and Japan and I believe some other countries were repreented along with the multitudes from the USA.

Next year it will be held in Reno, Nevada.

Thankyou to all who made suggestions and critiques of my sidebone shoe's. It all helped a lot.

    My 2 cents worth
