What would you do to stop a race horse from touching down on the back feet when going fast. I was told the best solution is to put a larger size on the back. Would using a three degree shoes be better?
WTF do you mean ,"touching down " , never heard of that term but there again i have very little experience with racehorses
Someone correct me if I get this wrong... "Running down" when the horse's pastern comes in contact with the running surface potentially causing injury. Usually is addressed by applying bandages/wraps to protect the limbs.
Ran it bye the Brother he is the T/B man he shoes a horse with this and he said he gives the horse a 2 size bigger shoe with a 3degree. i asked him does it work he said the horse has won 1/2 a million so far
Thanks very much will see what happens when the horse runs in the race on Sunday. Hopefully she will win the race.
