Got these given to me at the Hoofcare Summit didn't think I would like them, but they nailed up nice and the heels look kind of sexy on a foot!!! Toe nails suck though they said they were punched this way so you could adjust the pitch.
Some french company I don't remember they are are called parabolic sport shoes. The 2nd post is a different horse in handmades, I posted the solar shots a while back in the handmade section. Cleaning out some of the pics on my phone and thought I'd post since the place has been slow lately.

A horse used in team roping. It's the first person to rope they rope the horns or the head of the steer and turn it left for the heeler, who catches the hind feet.
Why do people doing/relating or influenced by " The Way" always RAPE the dorsal hoof wall? Please explain the methodology..................?
it's dressing the foot back to it's normal angle; but for the most part it's just a light dressing to clean up the clinches and address any flaring of the wall and to the toe wall from flaring or running away.....also you can't always take everything from the bottom or you will thin out the sole to much; like they do at the track. I usually just use a light sanding block and/or my fine side of my rasp to keep everything smooth. not to be confused with dubbing to the toes off.
