where is the rad of "the before" for comparison(s)? I'm calling BS; too much trauma to foot, horn and lower limb. As Bergy said, "hairline tells all".

    Thanks Shane for posting xrays.
Jay the trauma to hoof was caused by horse kicking threw stall wall. 10 months earlier.

This rad is worthless for judging displacement IMO, looks to be some displacement but one can miss something when the rads are crap.

Justin if you have Asteris study systems I can email you the original study of all three sets of xrays that are not taken from a smart phone off a display screen. This thread was to help farriers that re-sect hoofs to be aware of problems that can arise when no support is applied.

    No I'm not that fancy.

Doesn't matter how the rad got here the positioning of the X-ray machine was to low.

Great I hope then, that someone who deals with the situation will learn that the beam is shooting up at the bottom of the coffin bone in that shot. Which renders it useless for the purpose of judging balance or displacement.

    John,

Not to be and an ass; as I am. As stated, BS. No notice of paired limbs; Pelvic or thoracic in the op. I discern on fact John , not "see WTF" I am trying to convey.
