Why does when I click Upload a File , it takes me to documents and not pictures...dang Windows 8 or what??
In Windoze XP the "My Pictures" folder was under the "My Documents" folder. The later versions of Windoze changed the folder layout and the folder names. Now they have virtual folders called "Libraries" and under the Libraries you have Documents, Pictures, Music, and Videos. So when you want to upload a file, pick the "Libraries" button on the left of the window, then pick the "Pictures" folder - assuming that is where you put your pictures. Or you can pick "Desktop" then "Gary" (Assuming that is your user name) then "My Pictures." Microsoft has done everything humanly possible to obscure direct access to the hierarchical file structure and as soon as you get used to how it works, they will change it in the next operating system release.
Thank You, Tom. Explains a few things. Course I'm still saying "I know that picture is somewhere, now where?" If I have captioned them, "search" works well, if i can remember the caption or at least part of it".
