Unfortunately no. I am on my way out of town for the week. All good but the extended heels. Hopefully someone could post an example before I get back. I will be back by the 18th.

David, It won't pass because all the front modifications are supposed to be on the other side of that shoe..........

Is it upside down or back to front? Will I ever be good enough?

I thought my shoes were bad, but my photography really sucks. Here they are anyway. Toe clip w/ studs, Rockered toe, rolled toe w/ wedge pad, bar shoe. ground surface - fronts.JPG Hoof surface - fronts.JPG

Rick, this appears to be a passing shoe board. I am assuming they all fit. ( looks to me like they do) and level.
Before i would judge your shoe I would ask you to notch your patterns for a clip and draw a white line on them.

You are also missing the boxing on your extended heels and trailer. So I would ask you to remake your shoe with extended heels. For question and answer I would want you to explain your extended heel shoe and why you added traction to that shoe.

overall well done and thought out. Much better prepaired then many guys that show up at a certification in my area.
Your bar shoe is by far your nicest shoe. Forging on a lite shoe is a pain and it shows in hammer marks/ pinched sections.

Michael, thanks for the input. Pretty easy stuff to fix. Did you want me to make the changes and re-submit the pics, or just letting me know.

I used the St Croix lites because I have some sitting around that I am unlikely to use very often.

I chose the caulks on the extended heels because I have a few on the books that forge, and I use heeled shoes, and/or with extended heels. The jar caulks were just to satisfy the requirements and for fun. I find the square toe, trailer, and extended heels to be the most difficult aspects to get right
The bar shoes I'm fairly confident with, cause I do them a lot.

    Again, thanks for the input.

No need to resubmit. This is all for fun. I was just letting you know what I would do at a test sight. With regards to patterns.

I agree on the hind shoe modifications. They are the toughest. I also was guessing that you were using your surplus shoes that have been laying around for a bit. I have never been a hugh fan of light shoes for the simple fact they hardly ever reset.

Good response for your extended heel. I might need to reread the book. I know there used to be a question answer portion, but not sure if there still is.

    Well done!
