for those waiting for pix of rasps, finishes or anything else, today has been cancelled by and for me, it is -8 degrees f here around 22 celcius for those who care........... see you when it warms up..... but no flies or skitters! ray
What sort of excuse is that Ray one blooming pic of a finished foot and you cant come up with it Is ther anybody that uses these rasps able to provide a pic of the finished job it does in the near future or is everybody staying at home aswell
John Your the one who wants the picture of that hoof, I don t need it...take it yourself or learn to have some patience and to wait a bit, I think i d rather deal with the flies and skeeters! Ray
Amazing, guess i ll only talk about the weather in meteorological terms in the future, did anyone else have cold weather today? Ray
It was -16 F when I left home this AM. It never got above 0 F all day. Basically, it really sucked and I'm still cold. I'm going to bottle some of it up and post it to cool things off on here. Regards
Bottle up that cold and keep it for summer..................don t bring it here....please? it s getting to be a balmy 12 F. here in downtown Gill, according to the puter weather ...but i think it s frozen. Ray
I'm getting dangerously close to figuring the posting picture thing. I'll put up a picture of the snow drift I had to work in and some handmades for John to work me over about,
Bill I remember shoeing in a place called Howth one day in a field 8 sets to go on and 8" of snow under my feet it was different but I got it done
Yep. Cold and snow kinda makes you change the way you have to do things. Acrylics and pours are out, you can't lay your tools down, have to wear gloves, and enough clothes that it makes it harder to move. Gotta pick out the foot every time you pick it up so you try to avoid putting it down as much as possible. Your rasp stops working. Lots of other little things. Everything just takes longer. Bloomer might be onto something. Regards
No Tom the field was level enough they where all shod cold with a stall jack dident have to get out from under the horse to alter. its called shoeing for a living
