I didn't say all my clients were perfect. Everyone has good and bad clients/horses. In my area the ones who don't want o keep a schedule are the bottom of the barrel and I just choose not to deal with them. Had a guy call yesterday that said he had two to shoe. They hadn't been worked on in a year because he only has them trimmed/shod when he rides. One good regular client is worth quite a few one timers.
Perfect is a tough nut to crack, be it clients , tools or farriers etc. I have found that if you don t ask your clients to make good situations available so that work can be done safely and with timely attention to their horses , many of them won t . Can t say why, I don t think there is anything wrong with stating and following your own set of protocols, it s your business! that said, seems we are coloring outside the lines. does any of this have to do with the thread title, Nail Hole to cntinue this subject please start your own thread. thanks ray
