What happened to this fourm ?? It is dead I come here all the time to learn, post pictures for advise and now no1 is around. Or am I being boycotted ?
Zach you can only talk about this job so much but when you have to produce some work it can be different if the 4/5 people that have been posting over the last while stop posting on these forums you have nothing realy IMO don't know wheather their to lazy or just not able to do anything worth posting
Zach, it is 6:42 est. according to my putor clock, and according to the info supplied by the software, 3 members are logged in and 65 others are looking at this site. as you have noticed it has been quiet here, i have found that some folk only come to read what is posted, some are adept at fashioning words ,some at fashioning/taking pictures, some at outstanding work, and some at all, and some at none of it. What I believe kills a forum ,and maybe this one, if it is dead are those who only want it their way , and let s not forget some of the folk here have been participating in these types of forums for years, i think horseshoes.com started in 1999 or 2000. but i suggest that if you have concerns /questions,you should post them, as you have, the answers ,opinions give life to the forums. these or any forums take work and in some cases a fair amt. of work for the entertainment of a few. thanks for posting ray
Zach, Anyone that was caught in the "Polar Vortex" this past winter are getting caught up from work that didn't get done. Them as well as some others not as affected most likely don't want to think about shoeing horses let alone talk/read/post about it after the day is done. The dreams, night sweats and night terrors are bad enough. Give them a month or so to catch up. I'm absolutely sure they aren't boycotting you, don't hate you and/or don't want to talk to you. In fact they may not dislike you enough to talk to you online.
I trust everyone had a happy Passover, Easter, spring break, Pegan Sex Ritual holiday or whatever you celebrate if you celebrate some sort of event this time of year.
Hi Zach, even though I can't give much input here due to lack of skills, experience ect I always enjoy reading through here. I have been taking out a tremendous amount of information from all the advice given on this forum. I totally understand that everyone is busy as Clint and Tom said, but for sure more people will be posting again (including me). So, fingers crossed and thanks already to everybody that has posted anything on here!
This is my busiest time of year. Besides taking care of my regular clients, there are usually a few new ones to have to fit into the schedule. I also have to get all my hay equipment ready and start spraying hay fields. On top of all that I have to get my boat plus several other boats (paying) ready for the summer boating season. All the aforementioned work seriously cuts into my fishing time. There have been a couple of posts I would have commented on recently but just didn't have time to type of out. Then when I am done for the day and have time, I'm beat and ready for bed.
Stef, keep posting. You've shown good progress and improvement in your work over a very short period of time. It's inspiring to see new talent coming into the trade. And it appears to me that you've got a lot of talent and an impressive work ethic.
Wow, Tom, this is one of the most encouraging things somebody has said to me I wish I would have the possibility to have a good certified farrier around here so I could become his app to learn more - but unfortunately there is none. I will definitely attend some of the very few clinics that will be offered during the year in Mexico City (they even had Grant Moon there last summer) and my goal is to get certified next year - I hope the IFA will offer a clinic with certification again. I am honestly sitting here in tears and I promise I will put all my effort into any shoeing job that I will do - so I can make all of you proud ;-) and maintain our ranch horses sound and happy.
Ok who has stolen Toms log in details? He will be along in a minute to point out the apostrophe is missing Stef you do a nice job.
It appears that yet again I have brought a woman to tears with my words. Stef, I can empathize with you as I struggle to hold back my own tears when I see David's punctuation and John's spelling.
Zach, i hope your happy now! by starting this thread you made a girl/woman cry and Bloomer show the side of him that a few folk have missed. ................ that he can spell and punctuate if it s pointed out to him! regards ray
Not to take anything away from Stef as I totally agree w/ Tom, but, it really is sad about him. Drunk already at 6:37 PM. Glad to see he sobered up enough to notice spelling and punctuation.
I read all this daily. Sadly, Dont really have much to contribute. Sent from my GT-I9100M using Tapatalk
