I'd be happy with that as my first attempt.
    Nice work Michael.

I learned more making it for a foot in my shop then in all the other roadsters that I have made. Finally had some ah-ha moment's.
I most likely would have had more Had I not consumed a couple of beverages while I made the shoe and nailed up

If you look at your shoe
for me you have no toe quarters or heel quarters
thats why you ended up with that u shape

20150317_184731.jpg starting to get ready for a contest. This class is 13 1/2 in x 1/2x1 for the hind. 14 1/2 in x1/2x1 for the front. Made in 45 min. They suck. Need a safe toe on hind and safe medial branches. started my fullering to far back on the hinds. Made in gas and that is probably what I will take to the contest.

Made this yesterday afternoon for a supply shop near me where there starting a wall of handmades and to be made by local farriers. Cut 14" of 3/4 3/8 and made this hind trailored caulking with a feather inside. Was inspired by one shoe that Craig Trnka had made. Pleased how it turned out for my first one. IMG_20150402_152638.jpg
