This is Ray's pub. I'm sure there's extra butter for the popcorn and extra salt for the peanuts.

Is that a flatted third note? We could do kumbaya in a very serious tone if we flatted all the thirds in the scale.

    Folks,

I'm perplexed! I'm reading that folks want a strong moderator, but they do not want to be censored, some folks want an open forum but some of those same folks want to have certain posters banned, we just had a complete thread deleted with no explanation to the members as to why,i get phone calls wanting farrier only sections, but please allow certain non farriers to post in the farrier only section.

Why someone feels a need to post in a farriers section when they are not a farrier I don't understand , but that's me, they will continue to be able to post there until/if some rules are made otherwise.

You have had a chance, and will continue to have the chance to use this forum, if it comes to an end it will be because of you not taking part, if I wanted everyone to do things my way ,I'd only have my closed web site.

Make the rules that you want to live by, right now they are arbitrary depending on the moderator or admin. . Plan to live by them ,for good or bad for 6 months and we'll look at them again, but it is your forum.

    Eric,

good luck with the new website or your actions with horseshoes.com

No one took the position from me.
I never complained, just defended myself.

    Tom,

I feel that, that post should stay, if only to show that folks who profess a certain high road sometimes jump right into it by taking the same route that they are complaining about.

I also think that the poaching thread should be up to be read, I don't have any problem with it being locked ,but it was opened and there is a good lesson to be learned from following it.
I said several times in the past of horseshoes, that folks need to think about what they type, this goes world wide, you can and should be held accountable, all should think before they hit the post button.

    Regards

Spot on correct and that's precisely what I suggested to Ray Steele. Regrettably he has this silly notion that people will ignore the rubbish and carry on posting.

Regrettably though there's a few morons who are spoiling things and they're unable to moderate their own behaviour and need some help! Allow them to continue and folks will do as we're already seeing.

I got sick of wading through total and utter garbage being posted by the likes of JackMac, JustPassinThrough and Travis.

In terms of representating farriery as a skilled profession ???? Well frankly they're an embarrassment and not worthy!

There's no point at all using the ignore button when people like you are all over every post writing total and utter garbage. It merely means nothing makes sense at all and every so often someone quotes what you said as a matter of record and the point of ignore is lost.

Just exercise some self-control and start to act and behave with a modicum of decorum !

    Travis,

As usual you're talking out of your hind end!

Not only were you TOTALLY unable to read and understand or get facts right on the other thread but you've the manners and grace of a warthog!

The reason why I mentioned you by name is that in my opinion you're dragging this forum to a place where you're obviously content... the mire!

    Travis'

Would you consider taking the high road and ignoring that which you do not agree with instead of stepping into the taunts ?

You communicate fine to me...until you resort to the vulgarities,

someday if you want to meet up for a foul mouth contest I think I could go word to word with you.or anyon. but here, think of it like talking to a customer, it doesn't go over so well. and then, is it really needed?

Thanks for giving it your consideration

    Regards

    Didn't he just!

I was actually meaning the "other Travis" and there was no mix up by me...... but then another potty mouth turned up thinking the cap fitted him! And seemingly it did!

You clearly jumped the gun and engaged with a vitriolic foul and insulting rant before using your brain! So what do you want me to do??

Apologise for not appreciating there were TWO Travis' with similar preferred tendency?
