Get it right.... in the evenings I wear a silk dressing gown and cravat with Laphroaig Single Malt to hand. :)

Not a trace of chicken shit though and a set of bollocks that gives me the confidence to know I don't have to resort to boyish display rituals!

Furthermore you made mention about the "Poaching" post. You actually TOTALLY and UTTERLY misinterpreted and misunderstood what I was saying there! In fact my posting was emphatic in stating that the OP should be talking to the individual concerned or his lawyer ..... implication being "get it off the world wide web!"

    Travis,

I and I think the forum members appreciate your efforts, I think I have seen where you suggested the ignore button, I'd loan you mine, but 'd I'd have to find it 1st.

besides , you've shown that your capable, having taken the high route in the past, now if you choose the other it will be by choice...

oh yeah this thread is about making the forums better ... where the heck is that moderator, probably sleeping again! thanks Travis.

OOPS, this thread is about the impending doom of the forum, good thing the moderator is sleeping

    Regards

    ray

Ray, if you go to your Personal Details page from the menu under your user name, under the Settings list on the left side of the page is a link for "People you ignore." That's the "ignore button."

Meanwhile, I'm not sure you should keep telling Travis to get high.

This is where I think we can all come together on common ground. I enjoy shutting down the forge each night with a fine Scotch (Glenfiddich Single 12 year, currently) and a Sherman.
To know there's a fellow horseman in the land of my booze's origin enjoying likewise, is comforting. Additionally, it's comforting to know I didn't make Thomas' list above, but I'll bet I made Karen's.

Your right Clint. Hell my son's third grade class acted better than this. This had the potential to be a really good place to learn with the people who came over here from HS, but it's just become a pissing contest. Such a sad thing to see. Arguments over such petty crap that to outsiders who find this forum it must look like a bunch of butt above head no brained morons trying to compare manhood laying out on a table. Sad, just damn sad.

    Eric,
It would be great to keep the forum open. If its a hassle for you to moderate perhaps volunteer moderators could police subforums for you. Any unmoderated forum will attract the usual suspects on the topic of hoofcare but we could really use a nice place to discuss hoofcare. If you want I will volunteer to police a subforum or two to lighten the load. I think most moderated forums have a half dozen or so moderators. Please consider this or some other means of keeping the forums open.

George, this isn't Eric's forum anymore. He gave it up and it now belongs to Ray Steele.

Since you know Eric and Ray, that should bring you up to speed. :)

The traumatizing offence that is seriously injuring some here, reminds me of the story of the little old Lady who called the police about her neighbor who was dressing in his house without shutting the window blinds.
The responding officer said that the closest house was a quarter mile away and he couldn't see anyone. The Lady responded; "Well of course not, you're not using binoculars!"

I've been wondering... Who gave her a damn soap box? She appears to think she's leading a revolution of chicken farming single horse experts. She's not even an expert on that one horse!
