Welcome to Farriers Forums. I hope you login, share information, and enjoy yourself while you're here. The goals of the website are: To bring the fun back into forum discussions. Have a forum structure which will be easy to navigate and search in the future. Allow Horse Owners and Farriers to communicate in an easy friendly way. If you go to many forums you will probably notice as they grow, valuable information seems to get lost in the mix. I am looking for feedback in the forum, sub forum, and thread prefixes setup to create a website which minimizes lost information. If you have any feedback or suggestions please let me know.
Wow, this is amazingly simple to use. Is this your site Eric? Would be nice to get a few folks over here.
Hey Michael! Yep this is my website. I really like this software, it's definitely easy and a lot of fun. I think in time we'll get some people posting here. I'm trying to get my camera working again so I can get taking some pics again. I think even Smitty would be able to upload a pic on here it's so easy!
This is what you get when the developer of vb 3.xx goes out on his own and creates his own software. The only thing I'm not completely impressed with is the quote and multi quotes. I'm pretty sure they're working on the best way to do them also. BTW, nice pic! How'd you get that horse so shiny with no one smiling in the pic? LOL
LOL. The girls don't like cameras. That was back in '97 or '98. Ye ol' mare turned 30 this year. Here's the one you worked on at the Guild clinic . . . but he was a bit bigger.
Ok, i have thought of something the site could use. Can you develop a filter that will stop drunk posting? It could be based on time of post+ spelling and a couple of other things im sure you can think about
LOL, there is bad behavior setting that completely ruins the users experience on here. Maybe I can set some guys up on it from fri and sat 8pm to 3 am. but them I might not be able to post some days.
Seems faster, now to see how it works with tapatalk. Didn't even know you had a website. Very nice, simple, effective.
Tapatalk works ok. I think an update is coming up for it soon with some improvements. I'm sure it will turn into a very nice app since the tapatalk website is using the same forum software we are.
The Horseshoes.com went quiet because the new owner decided to destroy it and blame the members for not accepting the new layout.
It took a while to get to grips with and I am I think pretty tech savvy, lord knows how some adapted. I am on one or two other forums that still use V Bulletin and it works fine. I hope this forum picks up where the old one left off. Good luck.
Is there anyway to make the forum where we can click on someone's avatar to see an enlarged view of the avatar. Not everyone's eyes are good enough to make out what these little pictures are without blowing them up somehow. Just a thought...I'm no web designer.
