Tried to buy one for ages, wasn't sure on how I would go about making one, managed to find one (college lecturer made one) anyway now I know how to make them. So had a go tonight, made the shoes, tomorrow night I'll weld the tang for the holes and the bar that the leather will thread through onto the shoes. Will keep you updated as I get more adventurous. Made a little plain stamp front and nice little hunter hind
Wish i could figguer out how to upload pics .i have one my son in law made for me when i was teaching him to play with fire.cut the shank off a few nails and pean them threw the shoe like tinners rivits ,rilly looks good
