Koldingvej 120a.jpg I was out to a 2yr old minature horse this past week. When I arrived it was very straight on both hinds. After trimming it stood on the toes. When it walked it also walked most of the the time on the toes of both hinds. First time I every seen this. Have any of you treated this problem if so - how?

I've seen it when there was a spinal injury . . . easily fixed with the pink juice or inter-cranial pb injection.

Contracted tendons as seen in the thoracic limbs/legs in babies. Rare but it happens... here is a 2 yr old QH/TB cross.....

A little confused ? Growth plates & genetics. Some improve as they grow & mature in to an adult horse & some just don't.
