I have been using my wife's insurance but its about to change and we need to get our own. Who do you use and how do you get round pre existing conditions. My wife has RA and Lupus.
Steve, I'd start at an insurance specialist 1st. Different than an agent , in that the agent might also be a salesperson. If there is a university near you, contact the school of business and see if they have an insurance law course, that prof. might be able to give you some advice and insight . Regards Ray Steele
Steve, since the passing of "Obamacare", you can't be refused insurance for pre-existing conditions. That could change if the Supremes rule against it or it is repealed and not replaced with something comparable. Regards
Obamacare / Rommneycare has a bunch of loopholes, which my wife has been studying. Among the tit-bits not having a lapse in coverage is the main deal. It really hurts if you do. Thanks George I will give them a try.
