12/31 was a good day. Practiced for convention in the morning. Had a good day working. Didn't over schedule it. Done with enough time to get my horse ridden. Went to the gym just to find that 24 hour fitness closed at 6. Something about the employees wanting to start drinking early. So back to the shop I went and practiced a little more.

Happy New Year All. Woke up to fresh snow. Everything looks like a clean slate.

Our apartment complex is across the road from a Publix supermarket where they sell spicy Memphis style fried chicken, sushi made to order, have an excellent selection of cold beer, including micro-brews and imports, and right next door there's a Publix liquors with some very nice single malts on the top shelf. AND momma's got an infrared grill if you want to pick out a USDA choice or prime porterhouse cut to order.

    This morning's sunrise . . . it was a chilly 53F but now at sunset it's dropped to 52F with a forecast low of 46F for tonight. Brrrrr . . .

Just got internet back yesterday afternoon. It doesn't work here when it's below 0 F, and it's been 10 to 30 below all week, with -30 to -50 wind chills. I had to drive to town to make airline reservations for the end of Jan. On the "brighter" side, I only had to work half days because of the temperatures. All trims, shoeing was out at those temps. I hope you're enjoying Florida Bloomer!!
