You have to buy a special flux and wire, it's pretty expensive stuff.

I weld aluminum with my oxy/acetylene setup using fluxed alum rod... it's actually brazing, but you can jump a bar across the back of an alum shoe pretty handily with it.....

The flux for aluminium weld costs here at Spain about 50 euros.

I saw these videos of Densonfarrier thousand times, but my ear can't understand his. He tell very strange for me. I understand better the wrote english language.
I can see he puts a bit of aluminium wire??,but can't see if he puts flux. And he don't hit with the hammer, but he makes pressure with the hammer. Is it in this way?

Hobart Aluminum 4043 1/8 in. dia. Stick Electrode flux coated DC reverse arc. Works great with O/A, but it takes a little practice . . .

    Well..the borax don't work..
The sole flux for aluminium available in Spain is named ALU Weld. It's expensive: 75g costs 50 euros. I will order the next week. I think it's my last opportunity.

I have some good electrodes for aluminium. The problem is that my electric welder don't support these electrodes of 2,5 mm.
