Hey what do yall do with your hoof repair and vettec products when its freezing temps out?? Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
I put the van window heater on and put the tube on the vent the heat is coming out of on the way to the job and leave the engine running and heater on while i trim prep. The coldest it would ever be is around 0° though
Zach, the VetTech boys will probably tell you not to freeze it but I have kept it in my truck through the Winter for years and it doesn't appear to effect it's quality. Like Mr. Kelly above, if I know I'm going to use some, I'll warm it on the dash on the way there.... you can also start the truck and throw it on the dash after you get there as it warms up quickly.... I find it best to remember to warm the mixing tips as well..... If you get caught and need some in a hurry, they will warm in a microwave...... 20 seconds is usually about right, but you want to sneak up on it or you can easily superfast a microwave door shut..), don't ask me how I know)....
Under the forge for a while, or warm it up holding the tube in your hand in front of the fire so you don't over heat it.
Move south where it don't get cold enough to freeze...bill ain't you in Calif I thought it was warm all the time there...
I'm in Eureka. Right on the coast, 100 miles south of Oregon. We have the cold North Pacific Current that keeps things cool in the summer but in the winter it can drop into the mid thirty's. Once in a while high twenty's!! In 1988 it even snowed one day, an inch and a half, all at once.
