    Indiana Farriers Assoc. will be hosting the Hoosier Classic Contest on April 13 &14. The contest will take place during the Hoosier Horse Fair.
    The shoe list for the OPEN DIVISION will be the shoes for the Madison contest with others added. We will be having a 3-man draft class and an eagle eye.
    Will be a great opportunity to get ready for the Madison contest.

    Location - Indiana State Fairgrounds

    Class One (60 Min)- Pair of Concave Hinds. Inside Hunter Heel. Outside Heel Upright. Quarter Clipped. Safed Toe. 7 suitable nails. 3/8 x ¾ x 11

    Class Two (60 Min)- Pair of Plain Stamped Fronts. Bob Punched Toe Clip. 6 suitable nails. 3/8 x ¾ x 11.5
    Class Three (60 Min)- Pair of Plain Stamped Hinds. Bob Punched Toe Clip. 8 suitable nails. ½ x 1 x 13.5
    Live Shoeing (60 Min)- Shoe one foot. Toe Clipped from a keg shoe. Bring your own shoes. Any shoe
    may be used. Handmades are welcome (made prior to contest) Must clip shoes during time.

    Class Two (60 Min)- Pair of Sidebone Fronts. Fullered on inside, Plain Stamped on Outside. Inside heel to
    have a slight wedge. Hammer Finished. 6 suitable nails. ½ x 1 x 13

    Class Three (60 Min)- Pair of Hind Concave Straight Bars. Quarter Clipped. Safed Toe. 7 suitable nails.

    Live Shoeing (60 Min)- Shoe one foot. Plain Stamped. Toe Clip. Suitable Steel Selection.

    French Hind, Fullered for five nails, Punched for 5 city slim, Masselotte Clip to be drawn.

    Just a reminder, if anyone plans on attending and competing in the draft class, you have to reserve a spot by April 1st.
