I happened to be looking up some info on some old tools and came across a picture of the late /great blacksmith, tool maker/farrier Jay Sharp working at the anvil,

what caught my eye was that it was a farriers anvil, and got me chuckling bout all the talk in the past here and other places about which is better the blacksmith style or farrier style anvil, I m sure that with a little more searching I could probably find a picture of Mr. Sharp working a blacksmith anvil.

It was an easy find if your interested, just google Jay Sharp, and it should come up "Farrier Images" by Alice Johnson.

That's an interesting picture. I love old farrier pictures. My favorites are old pictures of farrier trucks. There is one of an old box truck from the twenties with "McNair Kerswell Farrier" on the side.
